Final Day – Management World, Dublin 2012

In yesterday’s blog I mentioned how the weather in Dublin was similar to that in Nice so I was surprised to hear today that Management World would be back in Nice next year after being in Dublin for the past couple of years. Last night I attended the Amdocs Analyst dinner at the Town Bar and Grill in Dublin, a snug little cellar bar with a great atmosphere. Day 2 – Management World, Dublin 2012

Day 2 of Management World started with a spring in my step after a really enjoyable @amdocs party last night at the Old Jameson Distillery – it was packed out with hardly a spare seat to be had – a real success. The weather in Dublin continues to be amazing – sunny everyday which I think is adding to the vibrant atmosphere – rivalling previous events in Nice. I have attended several very interesting sessions today and heard from many interesting speakers. Day 1 – Management World, Dublin 2012

Today sees the main activities starting at TM Forum’s Management World in Dublin. I attended the main plenary session this morning and I was really pleased to see it packed out, which was a pleasant surprise in these tough economic times. Martin Creaner, TM Forum CEO kicked off #mwd12 with “The future is place where our children will work for companies that don’t exist” and then Keith Willetts Chairman and founder TM Forum gave a great presentation on how social media is changing the telecommunications world.
